Ah, yes...your's is a keeper! Does it have the transfer bar installed? Two click is yes, tree clicks is no...no transfer bar, a live round under the hammer is dangerous.
This was my mom's.

Mom had good taste. Nice SS. My @1967-68 SS is all original with no transfer bar. Best to carry with empty chamber under hammer.

Nice, I'll get one of these eventually. 3 or 4 years ago Cabela's had 7 or 8 in the Fort Worth store at surprisingly reasonable prices. A couple had been converted at the factory but didn't have the original parts with them, 1 had been converted but had the original parts & original box, & the rest were all original. I ended up walking away (which shows great self-control given my history
) and went back a month later, they were all still there, then a month later and they were all gone but one, and it had been converted to the transfer bar action.
