This is my Freedom Arm`s model 83 in .41 Magnum with 10" barrel topped with Leupold 2.5-8X. I settled on the load listed by John Taffin in the FACA journal as one of his favorite`s. It has a 210grXTP over a charge of AA#9. This load was clocked at 1745FPS from Taffin`s 10" .41…..The other gun is my old friend, the great S&W m34 "Kit Gun".
I used it some much that I had it hard chromed about 20 years ago and the finish is as good as new. I have two cylinders for this gun in .22 Long Rifle and .22Mag ...

That's a good looking pair.
I have a few FA's on my short list...one of these days it'll happen.

Very cool James. I have an 83 Silhouette in .41 Magnum...it's a great shooter. My load is a 210 grain bullet with 20.5 grains of either H-110 or W-296.
