Here she be... underneath that OD paint is a really nice factory Camo Mossberg 835 3.5" Ulti-Mag 
... One of my favorite Turkey machines. Has an ATI M4 stock attached.
I'll get her all cleaned up and hopefully stripped back to factory colors...

Well, she came out really nice... too bad I was a little aggressive with the nail polish remover when I started...gun looks new once cleaned up.
You can see on the bottom of the receiver where I removed the camo from the primer....
Here's a little wider view...
and a few completed shots... Shell carrier had to go. You need to be able to shoot at turkeys with either hand--the carrier made this a right handed only gun...
Kind of like the "jeweled" 44 on Gb.... WHY? why blast a $500 factory camo shotgun with some ugly brown paint in a few locations...

Maybe the camo was already thin in that spot & they tried to make it look even once more? Just guessing. It looks nice now though, good work!

Super great grab, go to your Home Depot and get a can of acetone it is the same thing as nail polish remover and a lot cheaper.

True but be sure and realise nail polish is only a small percent acetone. The real stuff is much more potent.

And that is exactly why I start with nail polish--Acetone would have had it down to primer on the first pass... Also, I have a few different brands of nail polish--they are not created equal...some are close to acetone.

I agree with CF I bet the wear was already on the receiver below the
ejector and you didn't get "too aggressive" why else would the 
cover a nice camo job on just a few parts with brown ? ?
