Hmmm...I'm guessing foam and some yellow (gold) cloth?
I also notice something else...your handle insert (handle pivot insert?) seems to have this same little silver insert badge that my Mini-Pac case has. Does yours read "Hawk International...Hickory, NC"?
BTW, that nice clear pic was snapped before my camera went south on me...
...so enjoy it.

There is not anything on my handle. Just a space for something! Hmmm, that gives me an idea. Also foam but no gold cloth.

No cloth, huh? I be it's not lunch then, it wouldn't be proper to throw sandwiches & a drink in there with no cloth.

That looks amazing! I didn't realize there was a blued 414!!!!! That's a Monson looking case and that is certainly a roll marked shroud!
This would lead me to believe it's a Monson gun!

And you say it's not a Palmer gun? With the rollmarked "SM" on the shroud like that, I would have assumed it to be. Man, that is way cool…you've gotta tell us the story behind the hunt for this one.
