Hello everyone! I am very glad to find this website!
Do DW actually sell a replacement 8" barrel/shroud for the current 715 model? I just received a 8" barrel/shroud from CZ-USA and the contour/cut on the shroud is for the older style revolver only 
However, I do see the 8" 715 barrel/shroud comes in the 715 Pistol Pack.

Call Dan Wesson factory directly, they do make new style barrel shrouds for the new 715's in several lengths. CZ knows little about Dan Wesson and cares little for the revolver line IMO, so do yourself a favor and talk directly to Dan Wesson in Norwich NY, they have a very good customer service department.

Thanks for the advise. Yes, getting a correct 715 barrel takes many layers to go through. First, I sent an email to DW, then called CZ-USA. Next, another email to DW. Finally, they are now talking to each other and will find me a 715 8" barrel
