I purchased this Dan Wesson .357 on a GunBroker auction for $375. I picked it up tonight from my FFL. It looks to be in excellent condition but after doing some research here on the forum and looking through the Dan Wesson 1978 Pistol Pack brochure it looks like I have a 15-2 target revolver frame with adjustable sights (Monson, Mass #2350XX) with an 8 inch 14-2 service barrel. My main concern is the front sight on the 14-2 is lower than the 15-2 so it may shoot high.

If any reasonably knowledgeable Dan Wesson owners could weigh in on my observations/assumptions I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Nightvisionary, you are correct. A 15-2 shroud will work with a replacement front sight from EWK but I don' t know if Eric makes a sight to allow a 14-2 shroud to be used on a 15-2. PM will be coming with an offer.
