Hello to all. Currently have a scoped 15-2 V, s/n 60xxx. Had a complete Pistol Pac but parted it out to others who needed the parts more than I. Am most interested in getting a large frame now, either 44 or 41. Hope to tap the knowledge base here on making a wise selection. Thanks.

Welcome from Kentucky. 
I am blessed to have several large frame DWs and love them all. The 44s are fairly easy to find, the 41s are getting scarse and are costing more than I am willing to pay for them. Gunbroker and Proxibid have them both, but I believe Gunbroker has gone totally unrealistic with their prices.

I am partial to the 44 with 6VH barrel assembly. Ammo is readily available.

If I were a reloader, I would have a 41. New ammo is still out there...(saw some Cowboy cast lead @ Cabelas last week). New Brass is still available from Starline.
44 mags can still be found for reasonable prices.
