Gentelmen, thank you for helping me with my decision on my first hog hunting handgun without knowledge. I have picked up my first DW in .41 mag I will try to post pics in the proper section of this forum .I can find nothing as far as model but I do know it was made in Monson. Once again thanks.

First let me say welcome to the DWF and second congratulations on the purchase of a Dan Wesson revolver! The 41 Mag is less common than the 357, 22 and 44 Mag. The model is either 41 (Blued) or 741 (Stainless).

Yes, my thread in the revolver section with pics of the .41 labeled "my new hog gun" and a lot of this thread was lost as well but thats cool when I get home i'll repost w/ pics. Thanks again for the welcome you all have given. I also had some great answers to some questions that were also lost, which I will be asking again due to my apparent short term memory. Thanks again.
