Retired with a Dan Wesson 15 with 2 barrel pac. 8" and 4" vent heavy. Dragging it out of the safe and may use it in ICORE/IDPA. Can't remember when I bought it. Where am I? I would guess about early 70s. Still got the box.
Where do i look for kydex holster? Will a L frame Smith and the DW VH fit the same holster?

Welcome to DWF. Normally K or L would fit well, Bianci, Safariland or deSantis might be good places to start looking for duty type holsters.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Would be looking for a kydex, no paddle unless it is an acessory, stright hang with simple friction tension.
