Hi - new to the forums and new to Dan Wesson. I'm an average sports shooter located in the eastern part of Norway, usually at the range a couple of days a week to try to improve my scores.

After being on the lookout for a .44mag for almost a year, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a model 44 with a 9 3/4" barrel a little over a month ago - and 14 days ago, it was joined by a model 15-2 with a 6" barrel. The 44 looks like it's from 1983, and the 15-2 around 1992, both Monson.

Love the revolvers, pure fun to shoot. I might've gotten a bit singleminded after getting the .44 seeing I've been through every post in the Revolver subforum since the purchase 😉 Loads of good info.
