Just got a Dan Wesson 15-2VH Pistol Pack in .357 Mag. It isn't my first DW, I also have a Razorback 10mm semi-auto. I love it. Hoping this baby impresses me even more!

It has some competition here. This is a target from my Razorback at 25 feet after I put on a set of CT Lasergrips.

Welcome ! Nice pack, what is the thing next to the lower
grip ? is that like a butt extention or something ?

You know, I spent most of last night trying to figure that out myself. It's the same wood as the darker grips, but the hole through it is a straight bore, no ridge, flange, shelf, whatever you want to call it for a screw head to catch onto. It also does not seem to fit the contours of the bottom of the grip, it's a little larger oval. Somebody else out there know? I can't see it in the manual I got with the pack.

You are not going to find that in any manual or catalog. It looks like the bottom of a grip that someone sawed off to make a "shortie" grip out of.
I'm not sure on this, but the extra grip looks just a little bit not like a factory grip.
Please don't take either of these comments as critical, because, well...
