I'm a 35 year old navy CPO living down in Kingsland, GA.
I've been looking at Dan Wessons for a couple years with interest. I've got a nickel S&W model 19 from my late father he acquired when he was a deputy back in the '70s, which I shot extensively as a teen and learned from him how to reload... loading untold numbers of WC/SWCs on top of bullseye. I also have a police turn in S&W model 10 as my 'fishing gun'... and that sees some wax bullets through it in my backyard now and then.
I'd been interested in finding another .357 to handle some hot stuff... as my model 19 is, well... an old model 19 that I plan to pass on to my son in it's present condition w/o a cracked forcing cone.
I'll be posting some things I'm interested in elsewhere on the forum for recommendations... as I'm just dipping my toe in the water. I'd looked at the newer S&W model 66s... but having a model 19 already and not caring much for a hole in the side for a lock... and variety being the spice of life, I figured I oughta give a DW a go if I can happen upon a nice used model.
