OfflineThanks for the welcome, folks! I'll get a pic uploaded soonest and post it here.
It's a longer barrel, I'm thinking more than 6 inches, but I'll have to double check.
and yeah, it's Little Rock, AR.

Wouldn't it be great if all wars could be fought just by the a-holes who started them?

OfflineSorry about the wait. I've been on the road a lot over the last year and am nearly at an end to my current contract. Just remembered to post the pic today, and got lazy, so I used the webcam built in to my netbook.
Wait a minute... might this be a 15 instead of a 715? Haven't done a lot of research yet, as I've been pretty busy. It was made in Monson.

OfflineBut still, hopefully not too bad for about $275… right?
Gunsmith says it's perfectly safe to shoot, and has hardly any wear, including the rifling, locks up pretty tight, a couple thin bluing spots on the cylinder and just a smidge of holster wear. I haven't shot it yet, but I've been planning a trip to the range, as well as a trip home to NM to vaporize prairie dogs at my uncle's ranch… heck, the DW might be worth trying on short range dawgs before I have to break out the rifles.

OfflineWelcome to the forum from a East Tennessee member. I also think it looks like an 15-2 with a 6"HV barrel, it looks like it is in great shape specially for $275 you got one heck of a deal. Hanging around the forum is a great place to learn about Dan Wesson guns, great group of members with lots of information willing to share. Welcome again.

OfflineI'll have to be sure he doesn't take his sons with us. They tend to start blasting away pretty quickly (they get bored easily) and scare the closer dogs. I'll have a .243, but I really would like to try the Dan on at least one.
