I've been on the lookout for a Dan Wesson for years, I finally saw one in a small gun shop in a small town in Arizona. Needless to say I picked it up. Pretty sure I got a decent deal. 670$ got me a pistol pack with a 4", 6", and 8" barrel as well as some pachmeyer and wood grips. I shot it in the 8" configuration yesterday, most accurate handgun I've ever shot. I think I'm gonna keep it in the 4" with wood grip combo for the most part. Just gotta get 5 or 6 holsters now I guess.

OfflineWelcome to DWF, you have a really nice looking Pack.
Please be careful using that plastic barrel tool, they can be a little fragile. The EWK tool is a much better choice for regular use.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

OfflineYou really stole that. The gun was free. The two extra barrels, zebra, and case are worth the purchase price. IMHO, nix the holsters except for one occasional one. You would not want to put holster wear on that fabulous bluing. It is nice to buy guns in low humidity Arizona.
Most small frame Dan Wessons have scratches on the sideplate from letting the cylinder close while ejecting the cases. Keep the gun tilted to the left with your pointer and middle finger through the frame keeping the cylinder from closing while ejecting. The star makes NASTY scratches on the sideplate and gouges on the back of the recoil shield( which is part of the sideplate too).
