We need pictures and info on your DW or we will
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

OfflineWest tx,
Another
to our place.  This is sort of like Cheers, where everybody knows your name.....  Glad to have you aboard.  And fast reply on adding the pics.  There is a disease that is passed around here on the forum, it is  DWAS -  see acronym chart.  Hope you catch it

OfflineWe don't have any reliable info on s/n and date for any 14's. They were inroduced in Sept 1971, and were replaced by the -2 Model (eliminating porkchop) which rolled out in early 1975

OfflineIt appears that they used barrel wrappers from day one, but in the early days they were not dated. I have M11's #64 & 65 and they both have wrappers, plenty of print but no date.
That's another data point we need to find: when did they start putting Quallity Control dates on the wrappers?
