From New Jersey (yes I know Jersey has gun owner issues), I have owned my 15-2 with one 6" barrel since 1979. I've carried it for 7 years deer hunting in PA and was successful in 2003 in taking a 7 pt buck. Other than that I've shot it informally up to 100 yards, and have always been impressed with it's accuracy.
I've taken up NRA Precision Pistol competition and in addition to the regular 2700 matches, I am going to begin shooting distinquished revolver this year. I've been shooting various loads with the required 158 gr bullet and am getting close to selecting my competition load and will start practicing as weather permits.

Glad to have you on the DWF! My .357 pet load is:
158 gr HDY/ XTP over 16.6 gr WIN 296, CCI 550 primer.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
