I've been stalking this forum for a few weeks and wanted to say g'day.
Just received my pre loved Dan Wesson, its a stainless fixed barrel, 6 inch, with pachmayer gripper grips in pretty good condition. A Palmer mass. Build, seriel number S011xxx, and has 357 CTG on the right side of shroud.
Won't get to fire it until next weekend, but I'm busy reloading and researching.
Only thing I don't like is the partridge style front sight, its gotto go lol.

I lived in Sydney for many years and appreciate how hard it is to get parts, so let us know if you require assistance with your replacement front sights.
Hi,
Ted from Queensland (Australia). Can you assist me? My Dan Wesson (Model 15) needs a new cylinder stop and associated spring. CZ-USA says that they are unable to ship outside the United States! (yes just in case they are supply a terrorist state) Total cost US for part is US$17.00 and then they quote shipping charge of US$9.00(but unable to ship?)
Is it possible for you to buy for me (and post)? Naturally I will send funds (US cash presumably) prior to you posting.
Regards
Tadam

I'm sure we could, but it would be more cordial if you started your own introduction thread, told us a little something about yourself, maybe post a pic or two and we'll go from there. Sounds like some parts clarifications are in order.

Hey thanks for all the good will. Nice place.
In answer to the questions, I'm from northern NSW, near a regional town called Armidale, bullets spin the way the rifling tells them too here as they do in Texas (funny f__ker :)), and yeah, I will definitely shout out for help as I get more into this past time.
If anyone has any experience making a timber grip for a small frame, I'm interested in hearing more, the grip tang is a little off putting.
Very exited, will be doing some low key metallic silhouette this Sunday, I've loaded about 40 'starter loads' (38 spl type of loads), with a few rounds creeping up 0.25 of a grain at a time to dial in a load with a bit more steam down the track. I think the turkeys will fall a bit better than the Ruger mkii was doing, what do you think? (love the Ruger too)
Catch you anon.

Yes, we are lucky to have LBruce as a member who makes grips, so hopefully he will chime in on the tang hole. Check out his site; http://lbcustomgrips.com
I first shot Silhouette in Sydney on .22LR and fell in love with the sport.

G'day mate from the land of Nod! Hot as heck here but that's normal for central FL this time of year. I'm new to the forum too. Have owned seven of Dan's famous hardware and am gun poor of late. But I'm about to remedy that situation by hunting down a SuperMag and making some noise with it at that range. Biguns always draw onlookers. If you want to clear out an indoor range, make up some hot loads and choose a stall in the middle. After a few kabooms, three stalls in either direction will empty. Hooha!
