Purchased .44 mag number B001860 today. I was unaware of the inability to track down genealogy on the gun. If anyone could help me trace when and where my gun was made I'd love it.

The revolver came highly recommended from a friend of mine deeply involved with all things guns and a very active NRA member. Shot it briefly today, what a smooth gun. Gotta get it on paper to see exactly where it's at.

Someone with access to the Serial Number Registry can tell you the approximate year of manufacture.
