OfflineI've had two. one I still have, which is the one I registered. One I sold to a friend who fell in love with Dan Wessons back when you could not get one. I saw one this weekend at a show that I was very tempted to buy, a 15 with fixed rear sights, which I had never seen before, and so was leary of. (Hoping you aren't going to tell me that it was some very rare and valuable piece that I could have had for a song.). It had no box, no tool, no guage, and really worn bluing. I am kind of in the market to replace the one I sold, and I keep an eye out on gunbrokers and ebay for boxes and the other stuff I'll need to put a complete kit back together. Having done similar things with some smiths I know that doing so for Dans will be satifying.
anyway... thank you for the greeting!

to the
. Sounds like while at the show you may have been looking at a model 14 if it had fixed sights. There is a thread here on model 14's that you could compare pics with. Glad you decided to join us!
Here is a link to a thread that has a customized model 14, but you could see the general build of the revolver and the sights.
