Hello everyone. I'm Marty Ley from south of Houston, TX. I'm 57, and have been using guns since I was a youngster. I prefer the 1911 for a carry gun, and have enjoyed many different ones over the years. My current 1911's are a Desert Eagle 1911G, a Springfield RO Elite Compact, and my Dan Wesson Valor. 

I've carried Colts, Kimbers, Springfield's, Taurus, Sigs, and a Llama once. None compare to the Valor I carry now days. It's an excellent quality piece. No other production 1911 I've owned can even come close. The fit, finish, trigger, features all approach custom quality, if not equal it. For the money, I don't think one could do better.
