OfflineHello from McKinney, TX!
I've wanted a Dan Wesson revolver since I first saw an ad for one (around 1978 or so.) I don't really know why I never got one, even a .357. I'm a big .41 Magnum fan and when they introduced it in the DW I should have jumped on one... but I never did... and now here I am searching, largely in vain, for a .41 Dan Wesson. (I wasted my time pursuing Rugers in one form or another, only to be disappointed every time...)
So, here I am, drooling over all the DW porn posted here... until I can find my own.

I'll probably wind up with a .357 Pac eventually, as well, but I need a big .41 to go with my Marlin 1894 in .41… something that can take the same loads.
.44? What's a .44?
That's a good idea, but sometimes ammo for pistols don't work that well with rifles. The barrel twist rate and length of the barrel make a difference with their accuracy. You might get it to work fine. This is a common problem with some guys and their .44 pistols and rifles.

No, I know that's true. But it's a recurring dream I have... I have some 250grn Cast Performance bullets I would love to find some common ground on.

Good luck on your search for a 41. Of course along the way you can pick up say a 22, a 715, a 740, a 44. You get the idea
.
