I have a Monson made44VH PP in stainless with 6 & 8" ported and non ported barrels. I've had it for at least 10, maybe 15 years. Shoots sweet but cleanup after shooting the ported barrels is tedious at best Love to find a 10" barrel and shroud setup for it one day.

Welcome to the forum! You can purchase new barrel assemblies directly from Dan Wesson in Norwich, NY. I agree the ported barrels are a pain and I avoid them if at all possible.

Welcome to the from another nearby PA member. Yes those power control barrels can be a clean up nightmare. I do use them on a .44 but you must clean after every session to avoid the problem of shroud removal down the road.
