I just join this forum today. I recently purchase a DW Guardian 1911A1 in 45 ACP. What a fine workmanship, this is.
The only dislike I have with this 1911 is the guide rod, which is about 1.75 inch long. This makes the assemble process a bit challenging.
Thanks for reading. I would appreciate any tips to make the assembling process easier.

Alas, the great Free State of Florida does not allow open carry. We do have constitutional carry though. No permit needed for conceal carry if you are not a felon, crazy, or a spouse abuser. But if you want to conceal carry in a reciprocal State you still need a conceal carry permit.
