I was posting in another thread and it got me to thinking.
I found my DW .22 about 3 years ago on Armslist. I just picked up two model 15s at a pawn shop on the same day. They had two they got in from two different people. I've spent the last 6 weeks stopping at gun shops that I happen to be going past. I haven't found one at about eight different gun stores.
Where have you purchased your DWs?
Gun Shop, big box store (Cabelas/Bass Pro/Gander Mtn etc.), pawn shop, Armslist, GunBroker (or similar site)?
I'm not really looking for how much you paid, just where you found them.
Lets Go PENs!!!

Over the years, but much less in the past year or so, I have seen DW's that I have no interest in, but posted them here. Several have sold from CT gun shops to DWF buyers.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Where have you found your Dan Wesson's?
I have found my Dan Wessons in my safe.
Actually, some I purchased brand new through the IHMSA News, which ordered them direct from Dan Wesson.
Some were bought from friends that had them.
Some were found on Gunbroker.

I have bought them through all avenues but GB is the easiest to find a good selection. Armslist must be real careful only dealer broker through FFL, Gun Auction not so much found one, Guns International found none, Guns America same thing none. But you never know when you can find a deal.
