My resolution this year was to REALLY TRY not to spend much money on firearms. I ordered a new firearm last November that I will receive some time this year, and was really going to try to make that one my only purchase this year. (I rarely ever buy brand new guns).
Well, I stopped by my favorite little gun shop the other day, first time in 3 months. Right away the owner says, "hey Brian, did Nate call you?" (they know me there).
"Nope, I say, just stopped in to look around". "Well, he says, we just got something in, and aren't sure how to price it." I had a distinct feeling that this visit was going to cost me.
So he pulls out a Dan Wesson .32 magnum, shiny blued just the way I like them, box and tool and papers and all. Came with several other handguns from an elderly gentleman's estate who hadn't shot them for many years.
Needless to say we worked out a price that was fair for both of us so now I have a .32 mag. Of course had to order dies and components so now I have a new caliber to reload for, excuse the poor quality pics-

Nice score Brian! I've found more guns by not looking for them than I do when I'm actively seeking something. You will enjoy shooting that one. I think 32H&R is about the smoothest round to shoot from a small frame Dan.

Thanks guys, I really doubted I could go the whole year without running across something I had to have.
Ron, I had a 32-20, but sold it last fall! Liked it a lot but I knew the 32-20 was a rarity so I was always hesitant to get it out to shoot much. The 32 mag is rare but they do show up sometimes. And the 32 magnum is an easier cartridge to reload than the 32-20. This one is very nice but has been shot so it will go to the range. I have a feeling wife and daughters will enjoy shooting the 32 with the right grip on it.
This is the nicest cardboard box sleeve I have seen yet.
