Just sent my Dan off to Mark to get blued (Blue Ridge Bluing), contacted LB and will be getting a coulple of grips (come Sept.), hopefully a new barrel from GB (the used .357 HV2.5, so please, don't anybody bid on it or I'll have to buy a new one from CZ
) and getting some tools and misc. from EWK. Thanks very much everybody for the invaluable info. on my new (to me) Dan. Couldn't have gotten so much and so explicit from such learned people anywhere else (no exaggeration). Thanks again, everybody! I'll still be on-line right here, can't think of any other forum I'd rather be in now that I'm a new Dan owner.
P.S. Will post some pics as soon as I get it all back together (and can figure out how).

Jim, looks like we've been bidding on the same ones. I'm latad1285 on GB, ebay, here, and pretty much everywhere else. Sorry! I'll drop out of those. Good luck. Just FYI though, I think I'm bidding on just about every 2, 4, and 8 inch barrel on GB now, so we might step on each other's toes again.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your Dan!
