I just sold some Dan Wesson ammunition and went to my UPS Customer Service Center to ship, only to find out they had closed the facility.  Ammunition can only ship UPS or FedEx.  I found out that both FedEx and UPS are closing all their Customer Care Centers.  The UPS Store or FedEx store will not ship ammunition, which is classified as Hazardous Materials.  The only way to ship these items now is to create an account with either UPS or FedEx.  You put in all the measurements and weights, then add the Hazard Material label, and then schedule a pickup.  They now charge you not only for the shipment but then tack on $15.00-$20.00 for the pickup.  What a deal we have become the Customer Service Center and get to pay extra for it, also.

I am holding on to all my ammo. When the Transgender War starts ammo will be hard to get.

Just kidding about the Transgenders. It appears the Islamo/Communists may be where the fight is.

See if your ffl will ship it for you. They usually have an account, they may be good for shipping ammo and get deliveries more often so no need to pay for a scheduled pick-up.

The problem with that is your FFL will probably charge more than the pickup fees that are now added. A 10"x10"x5" box that weighed six pounds cost $28.00 to ship from Wisconsin to Nebraska.

I don't think $28 is too bad for shipping. I was just sent a small package weighing less than a pound and the seller paid almost $17.

If the Customer Service Center were still there, the charge would have been $12.00.  To me, it is sad they are cutting service and jobs by doing so, then charging their customer a surcharge on top of everything else, pure greed.  It is just my thought, cutting service and charging extra.

Also, not everyone is computer-literate or can print the labels required.  I will attach the requied Hazard Material label required save everyone time and research.
