I have a chance to buy one locally.   It's a 2004?    Great condition.

Anyone have any experience?   Opinions?

Can’t go wrong with Ruger. Unless you’re trying to hit a target 200 yards away the accuracy with the 9mm cylinder will be more than adequate. Go with the 147 gr. loads. Heavier projectiles will always shoot better in revolvers. Great savings on ammo prices over 357. Just my 2 cents.

first, it's a cowboy gun which I did not like. Second it's a single action gun so limits your speed. I guess if you like that sort of thing it's ok but there are double action convertibles out there! How about the S&W shoots 10mm & 40S&W Korth does make a 9mm/357 but lots of $$$Screenshot-2026-03-31-3.56.33-AM.pngImage Enlarger

I agree with 3ric, You can't go wrong with a Ruger. I had one a few years ago, and liked it. The single action is nice to slow you down and enjoy not going through ammo so fast! LOL lol2

I've had two Ruger Blackhawks for many years; 44 Mag and 45 Colt.  Took my first deer, using a handgun, with the 44 Super Blackhawk more than 20 years ago and have been a handgun hunting fan since.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
