Found a small stash of these fine papers packed away other day. Sure wish i was still gettin em. Lots of in depth reviews on guns and reloading. Also gave great prices on reloading supplies..i bought more than a few things while i was a subscriber. They was very heavy into DW firearms.

For those interested, keep an eye on Ebay & book sites for these two...
These both have a lot of the articles from "The Silhouette" condensed into book form. The only downside is most of the ads shown above aren't included.
Also, look in the "Dan Wesson History" area here on the DWF, our member IHMSA80x80 has posted a bunch of neat ads similar to Waderman's.
Those sure were great prices...

I have this one. This is the 1988 Ed. of Gun Digest Book of Metallic Silhouette Shooting by Elgin T. Gates It cost about 20.00 on Amazon.com right now. Some muttin head has a price of 335.00 for theirs. It's a great book to have. I have collected Gun Digest books for years.

That was the best thing going during Elgin's years of IHMSA. Lots of guns, accessories and reloading supplies at great prices. I still have all my papers from 1981...sure wish I had bought a LOT more stuff back then.
