OfflineI need some help from the experts... 😉 One of my empty "spare" factory DW PP cases (brown) has some issues. The "skin" that is actually the outside of the PP case -- the brown part -- is lifting up at the corners. It appears it has shrunk a little also. Any ideas on how to stretch it back to original size and get it properly glued back down? I was thinking of steaming the affected area and trying to stretch it a little, but I don't want to do further damage either...

OfflineI agree with heat and I also believe that a hair dryer would work best (a heat gun just gets too hot). Though I have no experience repairing DW cases, I used to work in a body shop in my early teens and its amazing what heat will allow you to do with plastics, vinyls, etc.
ONE WORD OF CAUTION: Be careful not to overheat the case liner as this likely will cause the liner material to distort and possibly shrink even more. Use a little heat as is necessary to get the job done.
