Why is the Dan Wesson revolver placed in the case with the name Dan Wesson
to the bottom side. The Barrel shroud are like this to.

Interesting question. I'd bet it has something to do with traditional placement of revolvers in cases, or the fact that it works best for right-handed folks.

Interesting observation. My guess is that, with the great majority of the world being right handed, it has become common to view revolvers (actually most handguns) from the left side. Modern revolvers most certainly favor "righties" in function, and until not so long ago, autoloaders were pretty much the same way.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

You guys are probably right, with the right-handed theory. I've pondered the same question in the past & came up empty.
So for something different, I cut the foam in some of my non-traditional pacs to point the other way.
