Most of my small frames measure .375" across the rib while the large and supermags measure .380"-.383". Not much difference; less than a sheet of 20# paper.  Probably works on either, but will definitely leave gouges on the rib, particularly on anything more than a .22

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

They are very nice rings that are light. But not recommended for LG or Supermag guns because the recoil can change the point of aim. Might do that with 357 too. 22 or 32 probably fine. Maybe find a used shroud to use it with.

If the back of package UPC#030317500771 then it would be the Small frame, Before the Large Frames were introduced.    Mine  has 1980 price tag

So those fit on a rail correct? So it's the space that the scope fits in what you're talking about? The rings the scope fits but the bottom clamps have to go on a rail that's attached to the shroud correct? I have a new pair of those also Wish you had checked with me! I have several mounts also but they need to have the shroud drilled. I have 2 blue and 2 stainless. I took a B  square with a Leupold scope off a Dan Wesson and lt left almost no marks on the shroud. Not sure if they make this style in stainless but I could not believe how little marking was left on the shroud I took it off of. Screenshot-2025-08-25-12.45.16-AM.pngImage Enlarger
