A long time ago I posted a question if I should shoot my 200th Anniversary of the Constitution DW 44 mag. Well I did it. I shot it. And what a great time. And above all what an incredible shooter it turned out to be. I acquired a 6 inch VH BA for it awhile back and installed it on the gun. It was the first time a round had ever been chambered in this gun. After a sight adjustment this beauty was dead on every time. And I exploded 6 pumpkins with it at 50 yards from left to right. What a hoot that was. This baby was made to shoot and shoots incredibly well she does. And she cleaned up beautifully. I know the value may have plummeted. But they are as much a delight to shoot as look at. Besides, they are several on line for sale. So if you want an unfired unhandled DW 44 there they are. Besides, if CZ/DW were to start making 44's again how much do you think they would charge? Some may think I did a bad thing, but I never fell in love with one gun after shooting it like I did this one. And this superbly smooth and over built beautifully blued and enhanced baby ain't never leaving me.

I know it took awhile. But i looked and looked for a Factory rear sight assembly to put on it and it took this long to get one. The one that came on the gun is Gold Plated and I could not get a good sight picture with all that gold glittering back in my eyes. But now she is just perfect.

I don't know if I could've resisted the temptation either. Glad you had fun with it!
