I want to add a little more polyurethane to a grip and my question to the experts is:
On a Zebra with DW medallions:
I have two and it appears that one has the clear right over the medallion and one does not....how are your grips finished ?

Was just looking at medallions and I couldn't see any clear coat or buildup on them. Maybe someone polishes the brass and clear coats to retain shine??

From what I have seen, The medallions normally do not have any clear coat , varnish or coating on them. I would guess the ones with clear coat came from some one who did not know how to remove the medallions...and touched up the grips with them in. But nothing is certain with DWs
