Got my Colorado CCW permit yesterday. Picked it up on the way home from work. The only place I went out afterwards was the library, so I put the 2.5" barrel on the 15 and carried it in my shorts pocket. It was a little heavy and I had to cinch my belt up tight.

That's HEAVY pocket carry! Just to start out, try an Uncle Mikes IWB clip on. They are nylon, pretty generic in sizing, and inexpensive. This will at least get you used to CCW, and help you figure out what you want to do. A good quality belt is essential for comfortable carry, I use a DeSantis belt, I think the 1 3/4" width (we won't discuss what length is required) fits belt loops on most pants

I never enjoyed IWB carry...that said, I picked up a strong side leather rig with thumb break for a Colt 2" Python...fits like a glove... set me back $40 - I love to carry this 15 2.5"~!

Semi-autos are a little easier IWB, flatter/thinner than a revolver. My only revolver holster is OWB, I don't often carry a revolver
