OfflineBut it was worth it…
A guy came to my house at lunch today to buy a standard red DW 357 wrench off me… As we were talking he said he was having problems with his DW 715 cylinder not locking into rotation; so I asked if him if he wanted me to look at it…
Barrel was screwed in to about. 001 and was probably like that forever. The extra pressure required to pull back the hammer eventually wore the tip off the hand, so now the hand is too short to work the cylinder.
I offered to take it off his hands, and the magic number ended up being $380.
I'll eventually get an extra hand and get her running like new again. Good news is the gun is in great condition.

This is actually known in the Financial/Shooting World as a 401dw!
It's sort of a obscure investment tool that ends up costing you vast amounts of money. And you thought Bernie Madoff was bad.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
