any reason why you can't put a blue shroud on a SS frame over a SS barrel?

None what so ever or the other way even SS shroud on blue! Mix or matrch it will work just as well. Only time it may be an issue is putting a 14-2 shroud on a 15-2 or 15-2 on a 14-2, then u just need to change front sight!

Ummm not that I heard of:

Bottom one is Nickel.

I had a SS frame, but I didn't like the blued barrels on it as much.

Soap Box, Ballot Box, Ammo Box

in that order.

great pics! thanks for your feedback. I have a 744 I'm thinking about matching to a blue shroud, and a 15-2 to a SS shroud.
