New guy here. Thought I'd share some hopefully useful information on a Monson made DW pistol pac.
I got this 20 years ago from the original owner who never shot it.
He bought it 3/16/88 new.
He paid 618.23 .
The paper the extra barrels are wrapped in is dated June, 1987.
The serial number is S44 00210X.
Hopefully this info will help fill in dates with serial numbers for others.
Pretty complete contents I think. I will let the pics talk.

That is a beauty Pistol Pac. I stared at the pics a little longer than I wish to admit.

My favorite type of case. Late Monson. Thanks for the date. Good to know. Beware the blue foam though. It deteriorates and sticks to the gun. Fabric would be good, or different foam.

The foam is in pretty good shape still, its not deteriorating maybe due to a fair amount of gun oil that has soaked into it?
I dont keep it in the case, hangs in the vault room. Put it with the case for pics only.
Anybody know approx when DW started to make stainless 44's ?
