That's what I thought too, although I didn't have the year right at hand for .22's

I have to agree with Shoot that the model 22 was not introduced until 1979 after the passing of DW. Charge also has a point that it could be some kind of prototype. I think pictures are in order on this one!

Mystery solved!
The guy with the 8" Porkchop .22 Dan Wesson revolver has posted a picture of a DW Model 22 8V-no porkchop in sight.

It's no Porkchop prototype, which is probably a good thing...because then I'd have to join that site & beg the guy in front of all his friends to sell it to me.
