OfflineI'm not a motorcycle expert, but wasn't there a late 60's to 70's time that Norton was was getting close to being as bad ass as a light weight racer could get?
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

You are correct sir. Surpassed the other english bikes…actually blew them away. Yamaha had this wicked TWO stroke that was amazingly fast…look up Kenny Roberts, and then not long after Honda got a bug to come our with a bike called 750 Supersport…four cylinder…if memory is correct, it did 13sec in the 1/4 mile…this was back in early 70's
If you're going to drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

Then Kawasaki came along, first was the "Water Buffalo", 750cc 2 stroke  FAST
 FAST
And everything changed when the Z1 900 came out in 73. My good friend Alan has one !!
And another has a 76 KZ 900, NOT stock !!
SIZE DOES MATTER
I stand corrected, I was thinking Kawaski - that 750 was one fast mother of a ship!
