This weekend we've had some nasty winds! Not tornado nasty, but enough to sprinkle shingles from my house & surrounding homes all over the place. Gusts of 80-90 mph. Lots of downed trees & power outages.

Tornado warnings over the weekend next town over, fifteen miles. Ten inches of rain yesterday in same area...boy, lakes and ponds overflowing.

75 and sunny yesterday, 82 and sunny today !!
last Sat. was a wet chilly one, but had a party/smoke out anyhow
Smoked ribs, prime rib, chicken, pork roast, shrimp + fixens + lots of adult beverages !

Wow, we have been dry in my spot on the marble for almost a week now. I washed & waxed the Aviator four days ago, and it's still clean!
Usually a wax job is the signal to the rain gods to unleash a torrent.

Finally cooled off for a few days, actually a little chilly out this morning. It was nice to shut off the A/C and have window fans running.

Sorry, that was me being facetious... don't mean to make light of what's going on SE of me. Storm total for me, over the last week has been 11". Not too bad and everything is above water but I am tired of the R word.

Not so hot, bright and sunny. Maybe a good day to do a little polishing/detailing on the car.
And, I have a lot of tree/shrub branches and trimmings to cut down to size for the fire-pit.

Here in Ocala, Fl. it is brutally hot and humid. When we haven't had rain for several days it is like a sauna. We depend on afternoon showers and clouds to cool things down. However, in about 6 weeks it should start to be wonderful.

Been just awesome here the last couple of days !! Woke up to 58 deg this am and a high of 77 today
81 and sunny tomorrow for range trip, finally outside. Mike's bringing an AR-15, an SKS and a 30-06
