After all the tedious work of getting this revolver in top functioning form I decided to treat the old gal to some new shoes. Despite the newer barrel assembly this is a very early 15-2.

I picked up these grips on eBay. It was a used item, but I’ve found out they might have been made by SK Custom grips in Verona, Pennsylvania. They’re still in business, so if you google them there will be contact information. Apparently he will custom craft whatever grip you can imagine. I will say that these grips are the most perfectly fitted ones that I’ve ever owned, even better than DW originals. I’m not certain that these were made by SK Custom; yet the eBay seller’s Id was skkustoms (19942), so I thought it could be him. Looking over his website it appears he specializes in grips for 1911’s and SAA revolvers.
