I've just added my newest oldest Dan Wesson to the stable:
Newest, because I just picked it up this morning at the Lake Charles Gun Show. Oldest because it's DW's first production .357. It's a Model D-11 - Dan Wesson's very first production .357. AFAIK, these were only made in 1970-71. So, for being 47+ years old, this one's in beautiful shape! Came in the original box, with the Combat grips and both the 4" and 2" barrels, and appears to have been fired VERY little. No trace of mechanical wear, powder residue, or leading anywhere, and the turn line on the cylinder is barely visible.
I probably paid a little too much, but given the shape she's in, I couldn't walk away! This makes DW Revolver #6, along with my Valor, ECO, and Valkyrie!
Regards,
Jim
