My M-22 with Eric's EH8 shroud over a DW barrel with Leupold M8-4x. I didn't notice until I had scope mounted that the base was backward 
, I guess I'll reverse the base later today or tomorrow before range visit.
I think I will do a 50 yard zero, that should be good enough for my plinking these days.

A mind works in strange ways....with the mount used it can't be turne around due to frame height. I might have dug a mount out of parts bin that was put in the wrong OEM bag, it's takes a Weaver #410 to fit barrel proper and this one is not quite the same radis a shroud. Since it's raining now and tomorrow, I'll just get a new one tomorrow and give it a try.

Just cut the tag and off, use a permablue pen and continue the mission...

That was my first thought, but it doesn't really fit the shroud proper as for a curve of shroud. So I think I'll buy one at Wal-Mart tomorrow while I'm there if they have one this late in hunting season.

Looks nice with the flat slab on the 22 -- I've been using my S&W 617 (scoped) since 1992 to hunt squirrels -- I love it. Someday I'll have to scope a DW22 and use it.

I had thought I wouldn't like the looks, but once I got it in hand and installed I was hooked.
It's accurate as all get out, but out weighs my Mossberg 142A squirrel rifle.
