Capt Jack, that is a good looking find! Observing the grip style, 5-digit S/N and the pinned front sight, that is one of the earliest 15-2's, and a VH BA to boot! I am really hoping that one day soon a nice Pac version of that gun will come my way at a time when my gun fund can play.

Sweet!, circa 1974 or 75. 15-2s started with serial number 50,000 in late 1974 I believe.

Very early 15-2 before the colored sight blades that can be changed

That's a beauty there and no side plate scratches! I hope the one I won on GB last night also with VH BA looks half as good as that when it arrives.
