This picture makes it look rustier than it really is, with my eye, there is no rust behind the side plate and only a small patch on the cylinder latch (looks like a monster patch of rust in picture). So far I have replaced the bolt spring and cylinder spring. I have a hand spring on order as the one in the firearm is a little weak. Everything else seems to be working as designed and locking up tight, heading to the range this weekend.

A good cleaning and new springs is generally all they need! You'll be pleased, I'm sure.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Sometimes a camera flash can make a gun's finish look a little off. Nickle guns, for example, often look like they're covered in scratches...but to the naked eye, they usually look 100% better.
Looks like you're ready to go, I'm sure it will love it's upcoming range trip!
