I've had the 22 for a while, just picked up the 9-2 last weekend. It had a walnut grip that was badly fitted, just replaced it with the Hogue.

Forgot to mention that I just managed to score a 6" .38 Special marked barrel shroud on eBay... now all I need is a 6" barrel!

The 38 spec barrel is the same as a 357 barrel.

Thanks. That much I knew, there are none out there that I could see. I've emailed EWK and DW, hopefully one or the other will have a 6" tube on hand. I'd hate to have to buy a shroud and barrel just to get the barrel!

BTW, took the 9-2 out to the range yesterday. What a sweet shooter! Even with the short barrel, I managed some pretty decent 6 round groups from a rest. Offhand was another issue, my hands were trembling from having shot my 20 gauge AOW, trying to see if it could be sighted in with slugs. I can't wait to put a longer barrel on and see what the accuracy is like then.

It took a couple of days, but I got hold of Shawn at DW and ordered a 6" barrel. Can't wait until it gets here!

Nice! I was going to comment and say that you can order just the barrel from Shawn. What did that run you if you don't mind me asking? I've only ever bought barrel assemblies from him not just the barrels.
