The grips came with the gun, so I've no idea... but are pretty cool and make the gun look beefier than it is.

The gun is in mint condition, but the seller felt that the fixed barrel diminished the value, he'd been told, I shook my head yes, and agreed to $500. Personally I think these Palmer 715s are a great value, and buy them whenever I can find them relatively cheap.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Bob at DW can convert fixed barrel models to regular thread/interchangeable barrel models? Of course it all costs money. How much I don’t know.

Personally I wouldn't touch them. Their relative rareness is part of the appeal, as it is that distinctive look. I'm trying to gather me some in different sizes so I'm not sorry I didn't later on.
