Delivered today, Hogue Checkered Pau Ferro Grips for my 744. Fit my hands perfectly! My only complaint is the grip screw that came with is not hex, instead it’s a flat blade screw driver style. Not a big deal, but prefer the hex style.

I have the same grip with a striped end cap - love it. All the Hogue grips come with the nickel slotted screw - just replace it if you prefer the hex.

My small frame smooth was the same.
Double check the length too, mine was a hair longer & fouled the hammer spring till I put a couple of small washers under the head.
Other than that I love it.

Ya know, I haven’t checked the hammer. I’ll have to do that and now I know the fix if it hangs, thanks!
