One of these is for sale locally and I've never heard of a 44 Magnum Chromium Dan limited edition. This one is SN 326 (of 500)?

There were 500 44 mags blue guns with a Dove Grey finish, special wood box. The first 250 were engraved The second 250 were not. The hammer spur was short. The grip originally, was solid rosewood with pewter medallions.That appears to be one of the 500.

They were the FIRST 500 44 mags made. The first 250 were modestly engraved. I believe that was the only time DW ever sold solid rosewood grips. I have never seen any more from the factory. Eagle Grips sold large frame solid rosewood finger groove grips though.

Interesting gun. It appears to have what looks like an extra ported barrel but the seller doesn't mention the barrel in the listing. The gun looks shot but in good condition with some minor cosmetic marks. Any idea about a fair price, assuming no significant issues upon actual inspection?
